Identity and printed promotional material for 'Condensed Matter' the 2014 two part MFA Painting/Printmaking show at Yale University.

Urs Lehni and Lex Trub Workshop Poster (2014)

Mini poster for Urs Lehni and Lex Trub riso workshop. Poster draws visual cues from a bb gun target, re-appropriated for a 'print evaluation sheet' with revised copy written around the theme of trapping given the inconsistent registration of risograph printing.

Make You Feel Some Kind of Way (2013)

An anthology of compiled writings on the art historical concept of Aura. The book features section dividers which are reproduced from the same master as well as alternating uncoated and coated signatures. Black and white laser and Riso text pages. Cover is screenprinted in one colour on black paper with three additional riso colours. Designed and produced while enrolled in Julian Bittners Typography and Context course. Edition of five.

Side Out (2013)

Double sided Risograph take-away poems in collaboration with Keith J. Varadi and Eric Amling for an exhibition at Primetime, Brooklyn. I also did the online promotional material, consisting of a scanned print laid out and produced in the same process as the poems for the show.

Peaking/Peeking (2013)

Double sided Risograph print on the difference between 'peaking' and 'peeking,' with references taken respectivley from Paul Rand and Aubry Grahm. 7 Colour Risograph print on steel blue French paper, Edition of 75. Positioned for free distribution in Green Hall for 2 weeks.

Screen Printing Demonstration Poster (2013)

I taught two screenprinting demonstrations at the Yale print lab. To promote the demos, I screenprinted a two page poster illustrating different capabilities through various separation techniques.

Screen Printing Information Handout + Print (2013)

Handouts given away at the screen printing demonstration for shop rules and where to purchase supplies. Display typeface is custom; in development entitled 'future ivy.' During the demonstration participants were invited to pull the second layer of this instructional test print, designed to help new printers understand the process and different aspects of printing separations and ink transparency.

Fame & Friendship Booklet (2013)

Booklet for an exhibition at the Yale Center for British Art. 6x9" saddle stitched, 4 colour process offset. With Lyn Rose.

Pre-Press-Prep (2013)

Riso calibration sheet designed to test the limits of our new machine. Features gradiation tests, trapping diagrams, overprinting and opacity charts, LPI samples, type size and stroke width tests.

Undergrad Comprehensive (2012)

With Eric Hu and Sean Yendrys. When asked to do the window display for the Undergraduate Comprehensive exhibtion, Eric posed the question: what is more comprehensively undergraduate than ramen noodles?

Owen (2012)

Typeface drawn from a sign painter's lettering set. The challenge was to create a level of consistency while keeping the unique charm and irregularities of the intial letterforms.

Olé Fuzz Guitar Pedal (2011)

Design and pre-press for guitar pedal manufacture. Developed and printed initial prototypes in house.

Der Kuli (2011)

Der Kuli is a line of note taking products that are the result of an obsessive list-making habit. In the fall of 2011 I designed and manufactured notepads/books while working at a print shop.

Substance (2009)

T-shirt hustle 2005–2010, selling screen-printed t-shirts first out of backpacks and then in local boutiques in the Richmond area.
